In this second page of photos we tried to show a bit of the time for fellowship and the making or renewing of friendships among bishops, priests, deacons and seminarians.
We also wanted to show that our clergy thinks so highly of this opportunity to relax, lay cards or golf and have a fine meal together that canes or wheelchairs do not stand in their way. That says so much about how they feel about CORE.
Another facet of CORE is the on-site tailoring. Any priest in need of a suit of clothes (black only!), whether newly ordained or not, can come to the dinner and and have a suit of clothes made to his exact measurements. This is just one of the little things CORE does that make a big difference.
Finally, there are the family with children who come and by coming not only show their love for our clergy, but also pass to their children the importance of supporting and affirming our clergy.
