We did the usual things: had a wonderful time with the Sisters, Servants of Mary, meeting other people, eating a fine lunch and playing golf. But, most wonderful, was to see Jim Wilson who, despite his recent illness, made a special effort to come back and join the Sisters he has supported for so long.
See the photos of the event here.
We don't yet have photographs of the orindation to the priesthood of Deacons Viet Nguyen and Carter Zielinski but they should arrive in a few more days. We will have a link to them on this page. The photo above is from the 2016 ordination of Fr. Martinez and is a placeholder only.
We still don't have the summation of the amount raised for Sisters, but we do have the photos of Dick Shaw of Blisters for Sisters 2018, These are great photos and you should glance at them here.
We hope to have a report and photographs of the SI convention ready for our July update.

The Board of the Serra Club of Kansas City in Kansas has established a "Sister Relationship" with the Serra Club of Morogoro in order to help them further develop their vocation, membership and outreach activities.
We transmitted a letter from the Bishop of Morogoro to Archbishop Naumann thanking him for approval of this relationship (see above). To further assist the Serra Club of Morogoro in their vocations activities the Board authorized sending them a financial donation. Read more about the Serra Club of Morogoro here.
